The difference

Yacht Ventures is unique. We don’t aim to compete with the cheap and cheerful fleets sailing from deep inside Portsmouth Harbour, or Gosport. We don't offer a random selection of whatever boats happen to be on the charter market. We don’t do bareboat charter. We don’t operate as a sea school. We don't offer go-karting or paint-balling.

We run hi-fun, lo-hassle skippered events on exciting, impressive yachts operating from the Solent's premier mainland port.

Our yachts are carefully chosen for skippered charter; we mainly use fabulous First 47.7s - a rare combination of space, style and speed. There is more about our yachts on the dedicated sites, particularly the corporate yachting one.

Our professional crews are chosen with great care; we insist on exceptional levels of yachting experience, but we also look for the vital ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in our guests, and to ensure that your day is fun-filled as well as smooth-running.

Our base, Ocean Village in Southampton, is simply the best all-round launchpad for south-coast sailing.
